Clip in Extensions - Are they for you?

Clip in Extensions- Are they for you?

For years and years I have been wearing that wonderful full head of weave.  I've had the worst of hair and the greatest of hair sewn in my head.  It made my hair grow, but it also made it break off.  The last time I took my weave out, I discovered that I have the hair that I always wanted.  Curly and thick.  I decided then that enough was enough.  I vow that I will only wear a weave if on vacation.  The reason being, is that I have discovered a new way to make my hair healthy, long and manageable.  I have discovered the world of CLIP IN EXTENT IONS.   I would see them on the white girls and thought that maybe they would not be a good idea for us women of color.  Once I tried them I was hooked.
Look how amazing and natural they look.  They are not bulky and you can do almost anything with them.  You can put your hair up in a bun or even use them to wear different styles.  They make you hair fuller and adds length.  My hair is about down to my shoulders and they blend in great.
I use about one package of 7 or so.  The only thing that I haven't gotten down to a science is that you really have to clean them with care.  I would use the same products on  my extensions that i would use on my own hair and it didn't work.  I went to my hair stylist and she had mentioned to me that shampoo hurts the hair and she only uses non sulfate products on my hair.  I loved the way my hair shined after she washed it, so I got the bright idea to use a non sulfate shampoo on my extensions.  The results were amazing.  I get the best of both worlds.  My hair stylist is taking care of my natural hair every other week, I can be more versatile with my extensions and you can buy a pack for just over $100.00.

  1. Thanks...I am now doing wigs to grow out my hair and give it a break from chemicals and dies. When I go back I will look into this option.
