It's Valentines Day and Look What I'm Wearing

Gift are so great and this is one of the greatest gifts I ever got.  I'm really not one of those upper East side girlie girls, so when I wear my fur it usually is to get the mail in the morning.  I know, that sounds Upper East side, but it just do damn cold, it's the only thing that make me want to get that mail.  Well Valentines Day is a great time to get that fur out of the closet and show the world how much your boo loves you.  I also wanted to put something under the fur that is the true me.

This is such a great vintage dress.  Handmade, so it is very unique.  I would say it was made in the 60's for the Cotton Club night.  It falls so perfect right by the calves.  As you can see, the top has this great bow design.  My shoulders look so defined in this dress.  I love, love, love it.  I put some clear heels with this dress for that extra height that won't take away from the dress.  Enjoy

Vibrant Color Is In The Winter Air

Oh it's winter and we all know that our mood can be a little down.  With not sunlight and that cold chill in the air, we can still wear those great and bright colors.  I am a leggings person, but I don't want to look like I just came back from the gym.  I love wearing leggings and putting together a outfit that really pops.  I put a great vibrant light greenish sweater over top this very comfortable beige tank top.  I really like the peach elbow design as well.  It's such a comfortable and stylish look for the winter.  I can also put a great scarf around it, but today I just wanted to show off my Buddhist necklace.  I also wanted to give myself a little height, so I paired this comfortable but stylish outfit with some great, and my I say, very comfortable boots I bought at the thrift store for $15.00.  I love these boots.  They are beige wedges that are made of suede materials.  The go with everything.  The sweater I got from XXII for $17.00 and the leggings at Target for $5.00.  I love layering my clothing, so I have about a million tank tops to put underneath everything.  Enjoy

That Lilly Pultizer Dress - Wow

I love, love, love this dress.  Shopped the thrift store and found this Lilly Pultizer Green dress for, ready for this, $20.00.  Yes lady's this is not a typo $20.00.  OMG.  I love the feel of the dress.  I love the color of the dress.  I love the chicness of this dress.  Most of all, I love the price of this dress.

Lillian Pulitzer Rousseau (born Lillian Lee McKim on November 10, 1931), better known as Lilly Pulitzer, is a socialite and fashion designer. She is known for founding Lilly Pulitzer, Inc., which produces clothing and other wares featuring bright, colorful, floral prints. Because the brand has been very popular with high society, Lilly has been called the "Queen of Prep".

OK so back to the dress at hand.  I love the fact that is gathers at the bust line and the waist.  With this soft material, it hides a lot of flaws.  It also a very sexy look, but not overly sexy.  It fits my personality great.  Sassy and chic.  Great for the office or even a night out with the girls/man.   Now let's get to those shoes.  The shoes are from Emilio Pucci.  I didn't studder, I said Emilio Pucci:

Emilio Pucci, Marquess of Barsento (Italian pronunciation: [eˌmiːlio ˈpuʧːi]), (20 November 1914 – 29 November 1992) was a Florentine Italian fashion designer and politician. He and his eponymous company are synonymous with geometric prints in a kaleidoscope of colours.

I bought them at a thrift store for around $35.00 and they still had the new tags that said they were being sold for $227.00 at Zappos.  SCORE.  They are fabulous.  So comfortable and the multi color earth tones will got great with everything.  They are slingbacks and the heel is a 3 incher.  I love this outfit and the price is one of my best bargains.  Enjoy
